4-speed mounting stud nut size?
In my move I lost the four nuts for mounting the transmission.
Also missing the "fifth" bolt mounting to the frame on the right side.
They're in a box somewhere but I don't want to hunt them down.
Can anybody give me the diameter/tpi on the nuts and bolt and the length on the bolt?
Thanks!

There should be five studs sticking out of the transmission. They are 3/8X24 and take a 9/16 wrench. Use locknuts and put blue locktite on them.

Carefully run a 3/8-16 bolt into it. The ones I've had were the coarse thread, but check it. Someone might have changed it to a fine thread.

Bill,
It looks like a coarse thread. I likely won't be able to tackle it until middle of next week, but I'll update when I do.

They've all gone through a lot of hands. As far as I know, they originally had an insert cast in with 3/8-16 threads. Other sizes have probably been put in down the line.

Put the fifth one in last, check for any gap that might need a shim.

Yup! That's what I've been told in the past.

I forget the proper way for shimming any gap that might be there.
Don't you torque the other four, then measure the/any gap between the case and the mounting boss on the frame? Then put in a shim that matches that gap?
Like measuring the gap when mounting the engine into the frame?

If the 5th bolt 'get tight' an the washer is loose.... the bolt is too long. If you 'horse it' you'll blow a hole through the case...

Oh, I'm gonna measure the depth of the hole before buying a bolt.
